Environmental Hazard Technician I - 525282
The Environmental Hazard Technician I assists with inspections, testing, and environmental monitoring services in one of the following areas within the Department of Environmental Health and Safety: environmental hazards, hazardous waste, general safety, life safety, laboratory safety, or occupational safety.
Scholarship Coordinator - 525137
The Systems Administrator I supports the functionality and availability of mission critical University and non-critical systems by performing entry level systems engineering and administration under close supervision. Provides system and application administration responsibilities for multiple systems to provide desktop deployment to the campus or department.
Web Developer I - 525281
The Web Developer I writes and maintains standard front-end and back-end code that supports websites and web applications. Applies specialized knowledge of web code standards and frameworks to produce complex, dynamic websites and applications that meet standards required by University and governmental policy. Works under close supervision.
GIS Analyst - 525286
The GIS Analyst provides technical services in the area of geographical information systems (GIS). Administers geospatial data and conducts analyses of this data. Writes GIS-based statistical reports, develops and writes training materials, and conducts software training involving GIS functionalities. Interfaces with a variety of external constituencies.
Accounting Assistant III - 525289
The Accounting Assistant III maintains accurate financial records. Provides accounting and bookkeeping support. Assists University staff in understanding industry standards, current laws, and university policy as it relates to the financial affairs of the University. Provides guidance, trains, and/or may train entry-level Accounting Assistants.
Action Card Technology Manager - 525292
The Action Card Technology Manager provides technical implementation and support for Action Card. Conducts technology research, impact assessment for legalities, feature analysis, industry standards analysis, security analysis, business flow impact analysis for Action Card environment, and recommends new applications, systems, and upgrades. Supervise implementation, installation, and support for Action Card and Dining point-of-sale hardware devices.
Graphic Designer I - 525294
The Graphic Designer I creates and implements graphic design projects for a department or the University under general supervision. Produces graphic designs and illustrations using computer and traditional methods. Formats and edits text. Prepares layouts and specifications for pre-print publications and other promotional media.
Academic Advisor I - 525295
The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed.
Manager AMSTI - 525275
The Manager of AMSTI creates and coordinates the operation of Alabama Math, Science, Technology Initiative (AMSTI) site effectively. Supervises personnel. Provides budgeting and accounting. Administers programs and activities. Evaluates personnel and programs. Completes reporting.
Assistant Professor- Computational Study of Religion- Tenure/Tenure Track - 525278
The Department of Religious Studies at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of the Computational Study of Religion, beginning August 2025.
Tree Trimmer - 524567
The Tree Trimmer performs a variety of skilled tasks involved in the care, maintenance and removal of ornamental and large shade trees using specialized vehicles and equipment. Operates hand and power tools in pruning and tree maintenance. Installs cables and braces in trees to assure that trees or limbs will fall in designated areas. Climbs trees using ropes, hooks or cables. Operates a bucket truck. Works closely with Horticulturists to identify and plan work activities. Must drive and safely operate a hydraulic lift bucket truck. May act as a lead worker.
Orientation and Special Event Coordinator - 525161
The Orientation and Special Events Coordinator plans, implements, manages, and administers comprehensive high school on campus recruitment events which include Sibling Orientation Program, University Days, and other special events that relate to high school groups. Supports coordination of Bama Bound, UA's new student orientation. Assists with the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. Assists with managing budgets.

The Emergency Medical Services Courtesy Worker provides routine non-emergency courtesy services as needed.
Staff Therapist II - 525254
The Staff Therapist II provides clinical services to clients. Completes client assessments. Performs case management and documentation duties. Serves as a liaison among stakeholders.
Construction Support Assistant I - 525249
The Construction Support Assistant I assists in the organization and coordination of construction office operations, procedures, and resources. Oversees the construction submittal process on all projects. Communicates and collaborates with the designer of record to retrieve and log submittals.

The Women and Gender Resource Program Coordinator oversees and coordinates program(s) that further the mission of the Women and Gender Resource Center.

Participates in planning and execution of special projects to support the assigned area's overall development and marketing strategies.
Producer - 525258
The Producer designs and produces low- to moderate-complexity multimedia programming under moderate supervision. May provide guidance to entry-level Producers.
