The Loan Processing Coordinator supports the processing and packaging of the Federal Direct Loan Program. Develops and evaluates the daily production schedule and output reports. Coordinates and directs incoming and outgoing loan correspondence processes with students, parents, and the Department of Education. Oversees certification and processing of all private loan applications, reviewing private loan reports, and adjusting private loans.
Plumber Utility Mechanic I - 525364
The Plumber Utility Mechanic I assists in the fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of heating, plumbing, mechanical piping systems, structural steel, package boiler equipment and water treatment, kitchen equipment, auxiliary equipment, steam, water, gas systems and other building mechanical equipment; auxiliary equipment, steam, water, sewers both sanitary and storm, irrigation systems gas and air systems and other building mechanical equipment; above and underground steam, domestic water, HVAC (chilled and hot water), sanitary and storm distribution systems; firing, tending and maintaining pressure boilers to supply heat for buildings and domestic hot water. Drives from site to site.

The Research Specialist PT works with departmental staff to design and conduct research projects on a part-time basis.
Construction Field Coordinator - 525346
The Construction Field Coordinator performs field operations as the owners representative on multiple projects. Monitors inspections, quality, and schedule to ensure a successful completion. Coordinates owner provided vendors, contractors, government agency representatives, and consultants.
Accounting Assistant III - 525348
The Accounting Assistant III maintains accurate financial records. Provides accounting and bookkeeping support. Assists University staff in understanding industry standards, current laws, and university policy as it relates to the financial affairs of the University. Provides guidance, trains, and/or may train entry-level Accounting Assistants.
Administrative Assistant II - 525349
The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.

The Sales Associate I performs various retail support activities under close supervision. Receives, unpacks, restocks, prices, shelves, stages, and sells merchandise. Operates cash register to complete sales. Provides customer service to patrons.

The Facilities Associate leads office operations, procedures, and resources. Assists in the preparation of reports and presentations. Ensures office administration and procedures are followed. Performs administrative support functions in support of one or more professional level staff.
Admissions Associate I - 525356
The Admissions Associate I provides clerical and administrative support for the admissions and scholarship processes under close supervision. Processes and reviews applications, transcripts, and test scores. Prepares admissions reports. Communicates with prospective students and guardians.
ADA Building Assessor - 525357
The ADA Building Assessor performs ADA assessments utilizing techniques including visual examination, non-destructive testing, and instrumentation and load testing under general supervision. Identifies, diagnoses, and develops barrier removal solutions for the built environment on the University campus including all major components and systems of buildings and other infrastructure. Produces deliverables ranging from reports of findings and recommendations to development of restoration design documents and construction oversight/administration. Maintains up to date understanding of construction materials and property classes.

The Accountant II prepares, reconciles, and audits budgets. Prepares financial reports, invoices, schedules, and/or statements. Completes journal entries. Reviews, analyzes, and approves expenditures. Determines fund balances. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, University policies, and procedures. The Executive Director Community Engagement and Administration oversees central coordination of operations and plans for the Division of Community Affairs. Acts as the second-in-command to the Vice President for Community Affairs, taking a proactive role in the management team. Provides strategic support and representation in the overall operations of the Division, encompassing budget oversight, personnel management, and administrative functions. Drives strategic planning and leadership for academic and community partnerships, utilizing research-based methods and best practices to ensure effective implementation.

Electronic Resources Librarian - 525319
The University of Alabama Libraries seeks a collaborative, dynamic librarian to fill the position of Electronic Resources Librarian. Reporting to the Head of Electronic Resources and Scholarly Communications, the Electronic Resources Librarian ensures optimal and accurate access to subscription resources, including databases, electronic journals, and e-books. The Electronic Resources Librarian supports the development of new methods of subscription and resource acquisition and strives to increase available resources for The University of Alabama community.
