Job Summary: The Facilities Associate leads office operations, procedures, and resources. Assists in the preparation of reports and presentations. Ensures office administration and procedures are followed. Performs administrative support functions in support of one or more professional level staff.
Additional Department Summary: Perform highly responsible duties of a specialized and complex nature in support of the Director of Building Maintenance and the Building Maintenance department. May compile and prepare complex reports, oversee office administration, oversee budgetary or expenditure information, or provide departmental support to one or more departmental managers. Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures. Provide oversight to lower-level staff employees.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of administrative experience; OR associate’s degree and two (2) years of administrative experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications: General knowledge of University purchasing procedures and of the UA work order system desired. Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.
