Job Summary: The Loan Processing Coordinator supports the processing and packaging of the Federal Direct Loan Program. Develops and evaluates the daily production schedule and output reports. Coordinates and directs incoming and outgoing loan correspondence processes with students, parents, and the Department of Education. Oversees certification and processing of all private loan applications, reviewing private loan reports, and adjusting private loans.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of student financial aid experience; OR associate's degree and four (4) years of student financial aid experience; OR high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of student financial aid experience.
Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of five years of financial aid experience at a major university to include a base knowledge level of federal student aid programs.
