Student Caller - Spring 2025 - National Alumni Association - 525384
The Student Caller calls and speaks with the University constituents to raise funds for the National Alumni Association and The University of Alabama. Makes over 150 calls per night to alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Supervised by Student Calling Leads and the Calling Center Coordinator.
Student Assistant - Arts & Sciences - 525424
The Student Assistant supports the Building Associate with Shelby Hall, Lloyd Hall, Bevill Building, and the Science & Engineering Complex.
Lifeguard - UREC Aquatic Center - 525426
The UREC Lifeguards ensure the safety of patrons by surveilling pool activities and enforcing all University Recreation policies, rules, and regulations. Works to prevent and respond effectively to emergencies as needed. Works at multiple facilities, including the Aquatic Center, Student Recreation Center, and Outdoor Pool Complex.
Front Office Student Assistant - E-Tech - 525432
The Front Office Student Assistant performs general office duties for E-Tech. Receives, screens, and routes telephone calls. Sends and receives emails. Maintains spreadsheets. Loans and receives loaner items from faculty and staff. Provides minor vehicle checks (gas level and cleanliness). Files. Performs light cleaning of the College of Arts & Sciences’ (A&S) fleet vehicles. Assists with the day operations of the A&S computer labs. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Summer Resident Advisor (RA) - Housing and Residential Communities - 525433
The Summer Resident Advisor (RA) will be part of a diverse and energetic team in the department of Housing and Residential Communities. The RA will serve an integral role in guest relations, customer service, summer operations, facilities management, and administrative tasks for a diverse group of attendees as well as new freshman orientation and summer school. The RA will serve as a representative of The University of Alabama for thousands of students. Hospitality, willingness to serve, and ability to work in a team environment is required.
HRC Lockout Desk Assistant - Spring 2025 - 525409
The HRC Lockout Desk Assistant assists students living in residence halls with lockouts. This position is the first point of contact for lockout issues, and requires a quick and efficient response to all calls.
Graduate Student Assistant - Student Financial and Scholarships Call Center - 525418
The Graduate Student Assistant supports the Financial Aid and Scholarship Call Center. Assists students and families in the financial aid and scholarship process.
Intramural Official - UREC Sports Program - 525400
The UREC Intramural Officials are an integral part of the Sports Program Staff. Provide officiating and score keeping support for a variety of intramural and club team sports, including Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, and Dodgeball.
Computer Lab Monitor - Spring 2025 - Arts & Sciences - 525391
The A&S Computer Lab Monitor answers student questions and troubleshoots computers and printers. Keeps computer labs in a presentable fashion, cleaning when needed. Opens and closes the computer labs.
Volunteer Coordinator - Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa - 525380
The Volunteer Coordinator works with Habitat for Humanity construction staff, Community Development Director, and ReStore Manager to assess weekly volunteer needs and opportunities. Creates and maintains the organization’s volunteer calendar & schedules volunteers. Communicates daily with corporate partners, University of Alabama campus chapter, community organizations, churches, and individual volunteers. Disseminates volunteer information, expectations, reminders, and follow-ups via emails, letters, and calls. Greets, check-ins, and thanks volunteers at construction site. Ensures compliance with Habitat for Humanity International volunteer policies. Maintains accurate volunteer records and provides data for reports, grants, and marketing. Uses and maximizes benefits of affiliate applications and software for efficient volunteer communication, organization, and data management.
Al's Pals Site Supervisor - 525318
The Al's Pals Site Supervisor supervises University of Alabama mentors and student leaders at a Tuscaloosa City or County elementary school site. Assists the Al's Pals Coordinator with leadership development for students participating in the Al's Pals program.
Conference Coordinator & Building Manager - Greek Assembly Hall - 525259
The Conference Coordinators and Building Managers works alongside the Greek Assembly Graduate Assistants to ensure that events are set up and ready to meet client’s expectations. Sets up and takes down tables and chairs based off the daily event sheet/calendar. Places tablecloths on tables. Provides customer service to students, clients, and visitors at the Greek Assembly Hall information desk. Answers questions via telephone and in person. Collects, logs, and stores lost and found items properly in the office. Maintains cleanliness and upholds standards. Communicates with housekeeping, building managers, and professional staff. Learns Greek Assembly Hall policies, procedures, and operations of the facility. Learns Greek Assembly Hall rules and job expectations. Knowledge of the different room orientations and equipment available. Learns basic emergency procedures. Maintains proper appearance and attire to represent the Greek Assembly Hall. Remains engaged in the guest traffic and refrains from wearing earbuds/headphones to distract from assisting guests. Maintains composure and professionalism. Additional duties as assigned.

The Afternoon Teacher assists with the supervision and well-being of children birth to five years of age in a developmentally appropriate facility. Communicates effectively with children, co-teachers, and families/parents. Ensures the safety and healthy well-being of young children. Engages with children in play, talk, and action. Cleans the work areas. Changes diapers and assists in restrooms when needed.
Bridal and Formal Stylist - Classy Threads Bridal and Formal - 525114
The Bridal and Formal Stylist assists customers at Classy Threads Bridal and Formal. Greets customers. Assists customers in navigating the store. Facilitates sales from beginning to end. Operates point of sales system. Maintains a working knowledge of inventory. Pins dresses for alterations. Schedules appointments and fittings. Styles the display windows. Assists with maintains the business's social media presence.
Content Tutor - Bill Battle Academic Center - 522081
The Content Tutors tutor/teach course content. Guide students in meeting academic deadlines. Assist in the development of general study, planning, and time-management skills. Review, discuss, and explain course material in a clear, effective, and creative manner. Conduct test review sessions. Assist a diverse population of students including entering freshmen, continuing, and international students.
