Student Assistant Teacher - The Children's Program - CDRC - 526245
The Student Assistant Teacher works with the classroom teaching team. Provides a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 months to 5 years of age. Works closely with the lead classroom teacher in planning for, and managing, a classroom of children. Assumes the lead role with the children when the lead teacher is working with students, parents, administrators and/or faculty. Monitors and documents activities for the practicum students. Tutor - Shelton State Community College - 527197
The Tutor provides one-on-one or group tutoring services as required. Demonstrates specific knowledge base in their subject area. Uses a microcomputer and recent editions of common application software such as Microsoft Office. Files documents in appropriate files. Uses other office equipment such as a fax machine, copier, calculator, etc. Understands and follows basic written and verbal instructions. Demonstrates a caring attitude toward students, faculty, and staff. Reports to work on time. Attends a 3-4 hour tutor training class. Assists in evaluating programs and activities. The Student Security Operations Center Analyst, within UA OIT Security, supports the UA Security Operations Center (SOC). Detects and responds to security related events. Leverages relevant tools, technologies, processes, and procedures. Ensures the safe and secure operation of UA systems and networks. Responds to information security incidents and alerts. Monitors security events, alerts, and logs from various security systems. Investigates and triages security incidents to determine the severity, scope, and impact. Follows established incident response procedures and playbooks to mitigate and resolve incidents in a timely manner. Maintains accurate and detailed documentation related to security event analysis, actions taken, and resolutions for each event. Triages tickets. Additional information security tasks as assigned.
Afternoon Assistant Teacher - Chapel Hill Child Development Center - 527287
The Afternoon Assistant Teacher communicates with lead teachers information about the day, asks questions, and seeks to know children of the class. Assists children getting up, rolls up napmats, and opens snack. Engages with children socially, emotionally and through play in classroom, gym and playground areas. Works with co-teachers in assisting one another throughout the afternoon. Supervises children in play ensuring safety, health, and positive social interactions. Communicates with parents by greeting them and sharing positive information about their child's afternoon. Ensures children are constantly with the group. Maintains safe play spaces.

Student Caller - Fall 2025 - National Alumni Association - 527044
The Student Caller calls and speaks with the University constituents to raise funds for the National Alumni Association and The University of Alabama. Makes over 150 calls per night to alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Supervised by Student Calling Leads and the Calling Center Coordinator.
Student Assistant - Athletic Grounds - 526793
The Student Assistant assists Athletic Grounds with pregame set up, game day operations, and post-game break down for football, baseball, and softball. Assists full time staff with the day-to-day operations of the ground’s maintenance crew. Assists Director of Sports Fields with regularly assigned tasks. Helps respective field manager as needed during scheduled shift. Restocks refrigerators in Grounds Shops with drinks. Performs light cleaning/organizational tasks around Grounds Shop. Fills up turf equipment with fuel. Cleans equipment as needed. Assists with general groundskeeping duties such as walk mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing.
