The Technology Student Assistant supports the computer labs and other technology initiatives in the College of Arts & Sciences. Assists with computer lab maintenance tasks. Installs and configures software. Diagnoses and repairs hardware. Erases machines. Picks-up and delivers technology across campus. Assists with the Academic Continuity Initiative, which provides eligible Arts and Sciences Faculty and Staff with an iPad. Sets-up and supports these devices via email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person appointments.
Inventory Student Assistant - Summer 2025 - E-Tech - 526036
The Inventory Student Assistant takes inventory and delivers technology equipment for the College of Arts & Sciences. Enters data for new technology equipment. Updates the A&S inventory system. Performs physical audits on pieces of technology equipment. Creates equipment lists for surplus and buyback by using Excel or Google Sheets. Creates tasks for pickups and deliveries. Sorts pieces of equipment. Organizes and maintains equipment storage space. Performs vehicle inspections before using the vehicle. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Front Office Student Assistant - Summer 2025 - A&S Computer Labs and E-Tech - 526050
The Front Office Student Assistant performs general office duties for the College of Arts & Sciences Computer Labs and E-Tech. Receives, screens, and routes telephone calls. Sends and receives emails. Maintains spreadsheets. Loans and receives loaner items from faculty and staff. Provides minor vehicle checks (gas level and cleanliness). Files. Performs light cleaning of fleet vehicles. Assists with the day operations. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Mover/Driver - Two Men and a Truck - 525984
The Mover/Driver provides exceptional customer service as they safely move, pack, and unpack customer’s belongings. Greets customer upon arrival at location. Makes a positive first impression (smile, handshake, positive attitude). Completes a walk-through of the premises. Works with a team of movers to load and unload moving truck. Completes paperwork and payment collection accurately. Drives and maneuvers box truck safely.

The Graduate Student Assistant supports the Athletic Events and Facility Operations department in executing a wide range of tasks related to ensuring the safety, smooth operations, and success of various athletic events and day-to-day activities.
Student Assistant - Undergraduate Admissions - 525959
The Student Assistant supports the University of Alabama Undergraduate Admissions Office with the distribution and shipping of University materials for events, recruiters, and prospective students. The Receptionist/Runner provides customer service to clients and visitors at Duncan Coker Associates. Answers phone calls, directs inquiries, and takes messages. Manages incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Provides staff support by running errands, delivering documents, and coordinating office supplies. Maintains an organized reception area. Lifeguard - SUMMER 2025 - UREC Aquatic Center - 525716
The UREC Lifeguards ensure the safety of patrons by surveilling pool activities and enforcing all University Recreation policies, rules, and regulations during Summer 2025. Work to prevent and respond effectively to emergencies as needed. Work at multiple facilities, including the Aquatic Center, Student Recreation Center, and Outdoor Pool Complex. This position is a critical member of the facility Emergency Action Plan.

Student Caller - Spring 2025 - National Alumni Association - 525384
The Student Caller calls and speaks with the University constituents to raise funds for the National Alumni Association and The University of Alabama. Makes over 150 calls per night to alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Supervised by Student Calling Leads and the Calling Center Coordinator.
Graduate Student Assistant - Student Financial and Scholarships Call Center - 525418
The Graduate Student Assistant supports the Financial Aid and Scholarship Call Center. Assists students and families in the financial aid and scholarship process.
