The Content Tutors tutor/teach course content. Guide students in meeting academic deadlines. Assist in the development of general study, planning, and time-management skills. Review, discuss, and explain course material in a clear, effective, and creative manner. Conduct test review sessions. Assist entering freshmen, continuing, and international students.
Lifeguard - SPRING 2026 - UREC Aquatic Center - 527729
The UREC Lifeguards ensure the safety of patrons by surveilling pool activities and enforcing all University Recreation policies, rules, and regulations during Fall 2025.
Academic Tutor - GPA Rescue LLC - 527760
The Academic Tutor provides tutoring sessions to students in Math, Chemistry, Accounting, Physics, or Engineering for GPA Rescue LLC.
New Resident Advisor - Fall 2026 - Housing and Residential Communities - 527699
Resident Advisors (RAs) are part-time student staff members for the department of Housing and Residential Communities who live in a designated residential hall.
Student Assistant - History - 527738
The Student Assistant provides general office support to ensure a smooth daily operation of the History department.
College Tutor - Applied Tutoring, LLC - 527413
The College Tutor provides instruction to students for Applied Tutoring, LLC. In-person on campus or rarely via Zoom. Possible small group tutoring locations are UA facilities or sorority/fraternity houses.
Tutor - Shelton State Community College - 527197
The Tutor provides one-on-one or group tutoring services as required. Demonstrates specific knowledge base in their subject area. Uses a microcomputer and recent editions of common application software such as Microsoft Office. Files documents in appropriate files. Uses other office equipment such as a fax machine, copier, calculator, etc. Understands and follows basic written and verbal instructions. Demonstrates a caring attitude toward students, faculty, and staff. Reports to work on time. Attends a 3-4 hour tutor training class. Assists in evaluating programs and activities. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with other administrative, faculty, and staff personnel. Attends regularly scheduled classes on the subject they are tutoring. Participates in staff and committee meetings as assigned. Communicates with other divisions appropriate items of information. Maintains confidentiality of office/student information.
Office Assistant - Gary Rath State Farm Insurance - 527166
The Office Assistant provides administrative support for Gary Rath State Farm Insurance. Answers phones. Takes notes. Conducts cold calls. Takes payments. Follows up on claims.
Student Caller - Fall 2025 - National Alumni Association - 527044
The Student Caller calls and speaks with the University constituents to raise funds for the National Alumni Association and The University of Alabama. Makes over 150 calls per night to alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Supervised by Student Calling Leads and the Calling Center Coordinator.
Student Assistant - Athletic Grounds - 526793
The Student Assistant assists Athletic Grounds with pregame set up, game day operations, and post-game break down for football, baseball, and softball. Assists full time staff with the day-to-day operations of the ground’s maintenance crew. Assists Director of Sports Fields with regularly assigned tasks. Helps respective field manager as needed during scheduled shift. Restocks refrigerators in Grounds Shops with drinks. Performs light cleaning/organizational tasks around Grounds Shop. Fills up turf equipment with fuel. Cleans equipment as needed. Assists with general groundskeeping duties such as walk mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing.

Please note, all Student Employment positions close at 10:55pm CST.

Non-Exempt positions are posted a minimum of 3 days. Exempt positions are posted a minimum of 7 days.
