Job Summary: The Alabama Dance Team Coordinator oversees the coordination, scheduling, and preparation for all dance team practices, conditioning, and training sessions. Coordinates travel for required sporting events. Manages team auditions, recruitment, public appearances, the fan experience, and dance competitions.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and some experience in competitive dance at the collegiate and/or professional sport level.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work nights and weekends, and travel.
Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of the dynamics of competitive dance at the collegiate level. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Ability to lead others. Knowledge of personal computers and standard software programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience coaching dance at the collegiate level.
