The Saxon Endowed Chair in Rural Nursing is a 9-month position for a highly accomplished scholar who has a record of collaborating with faculty and students to plan, design, conduct, evaluate and disseminate rural-focused nursing research and scholarship activities. The Saxon Chair is expected to obtain external funding, support our emphasis on rural nursing, teach in the CCN’s graduate programs and serve as a mentor to both faculty and students. The person in this position is considered an informal leader in the College who supports the College’s mission, vision and goals.
