Heritage House is also searching for someone who can make their muffin batters. This position requires training from a seasoned worker, and then the hours are flexible. The hours of this position can vary according to the worker’s schedule. This worker will make batters after the kitchen closes, 3 to 4 hours per shift, 3 times a week. This position is perfect for someone who has class during the day and needs hours in the late afternoon.

Job Summary: The Kitchen Assistant prepares meals and cooks menu items for Heritage House Coffee and Tea. Prepares basic recipe ingredients, meals, and food presentation. Cleans a health department inspected kitchen.
Additional Department Summary: Heritage House’s kitchen is open Monday – Saturday. There is an opening shift and a closing shift. Shift hours are fairly consistent.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Great and responsible work ethic. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Kitchen experience. Knowledge of health department procedures.
