Normal Work Schedule: Varies; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 9:00am - 2:00pm; 10 hours per week.


Additional Department Summary: The Undergraduate Student Assistant supports the UA Sales Program in the Culverhouse College of Business Marketing Department. Works with the Director of Collaborative Learning and the Director of Corporate Engagement. Creates and organizes academic course material. Manages student attendance and course material during classes. Virtually role-plays presentation scenarios for UA Sales Program students. Organizes corporate visits while creating and strengthening current corporate relationships for sponsors of the UA Sales Program.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Current University of Alabama undergraduate student. Must have and maintain a minimum of 2.25 cumulative GPA or higher.


Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with Microsoft Office software. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information. Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with UA faculty, staff, students and UA Sales Program corporate partners.


Enrollment Requirements: Applicants must meet enrollment requirements to be eligible for on-campus student employment. Applicants must be enrolled in a UA degree program and meet minimum credit hour requirements during the academic year: Undergraduate Students must be registered for at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; Graduate Students must be registered for at least 4.5 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; International Students must be registered full-time (Undergraduate = 12 credit hours, Graduate = 9 credit hours) during fall/spring semesters. Enrollment requirements must be maintained for the duration of on-campus employment. Individual hiring departments and programs may also have additional eligibility requirements for employment.
