Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:45pm to 9:00pm; up to 20 hours per week.
Note to Applicants: The Crimson Calling Center is located on the 2nd floor of the McMillan Building.
Job Summary: The Student Caller calls and speaks with alumni, parents, and friends of the institution to raise funds for the National Alumni Association and The University of Alabama.
Additional Department Summary: The Crimson Calling Center is an integral part of the Membership and Marketing Department of the National Alumni Association. Callers who show dedication and leadership may have the opportunity to become a student supervisor.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Current University of Alabama undergraduate student. Ability to work at least 2 night shifts per week.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new computer programs quickly. Ability to work independently and adapt to varying situations.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sales or cold calling.
Enrollment Requirements: Applicants must meet enrollment requirements to be eligible for on-campus student employment. Applicants must be enrolled in a UA degree program and meet minimum credit hour requirements during the academic year: Undergraduate Students must be registered for at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; Graduate Students must be registered for at least 4.5 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; International Students must be registered full-time (Undergraduate = 12 credit hours, Graduate = 9 credit hours) during fall/spring semesters. Enrollment requirements must be maintained for the duration of on-campus employment. Individual hiring departments and programs may also have additional eligibility requirements for employment.
