Digital Project Student Assistant - University Libraries - 525577
The University of Alabama Libraries Special Collections seeks two graduate research assistants to support an NHPRC-funded archival grant project, digitizing the records of Alabama's coal and iron labor history. UA Libraries is digitizing and making freely available approximately 40,730 pages of archival collections that document the racialized labor history of Alabama's coal and iron industry from the Civil War through the early 20th century. In partnership with a digitization vendor, the project is collecting original descriptive metadata for selected materials, digitally reformatting to archival standards, creating derivative files for web delivery, and repurposing metadata to enhance collection finding aid description. The project is curating a digital exhibit utilizing digitized materials to further contextualize the historical topic.
Graduate Student Research Assistant - Alabama Life Research Institute - 525590
The Graduate Student Research Assistant collects and analyzes data, behavioral data or neuroimaging data depending on experience. Reviews literature. Creates IRB applications. Prepares manuscripts. Assists with a host of projects for Alabama Life Research Institute research staff and collaborators. Assists with language translation services, community outreach, and community education.

Academic Tutor - GPA Rescue LLC - 525518
The Tutor provides 1-on-1 tutoring sessions to students in Math, Chemistry, Accounting, Physics, or Engineering. Assists students with homework, exam preparation, and concept understanding. Fosters a positive and encouraging learning environment to build student confidence and motivation. Maintains a professional and punctual schedule for all tutoring appointments.
Graduate Student Assistant - Center for Instructional Technology - 525502
The Graduate Student Assistant works with the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) staff to provide support for the campus-wide instructional technologies used at The University of Alabama.
IT Intern - ABH Enterprises - 525503
The IT Intern assists in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems at ABH Enterprises. Supports the setup and configuration of computer systems, printers, and other office technology. Monitors and responds to help desk tickets, providing technical support to staff and users. Student Caller - Spring 2025 - National Alumni Association - 525384
The Student Caller calls and speaks with the University constituents to raise funds for the National Alumni Association and The University of Alabama. Makes over 150 calls per night to alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Supervised by Student Calling Leads and the Calling Center Coordinator.
Graduate Student Assistant - Student Financial and Scholarships Call Center - 525418
The Graduate Student Assistant supports the Financial Aid and Scholarship Call Center. Assists students and families in the financial aid and scholarship process.
Al's Pals Site Supervisor - 525318
The Al's Pals Site Supervisor supervises University of Alabama mentors and student leaders at a Tuscaloosa City or County elementary school site. Assists the Al's Pals Coordinator with leadership development for students participating in the Al's Pals program.
Conference Coordinator & Building Manager - Greek Assembly Hall - 525259
The Conference Coordinators and Building Managers works alongside the Greek Assembly Graduate Assistants to ensure that events are set up and ready to meet client’s expectations. Sets up and takes down tables and chairs based off the daily event sheet/calendar. Places tablecloths on tables. Provides customer service to students, clients, and visitors at the Greek Assembly Hall information desk. Answers questions via telephone and in person. Collects, logs, and stores lost and found items properly in the office. Maintains cleanliness and upholds standards. Communicates with housekeeping, building managers, and professional staff. Learns Greek Assembly Hall policies, procedures, and operations of the facility. Learns Greek Assembly Hall rules and job expectations. Knowledge of the different room orientations and equipment available. Learns basic emergency procedures. Maintains proper appearance and attire to represent the Greek Assembly Hall. Remains engaged in the guest traffic and refrains from wearing earbuds/headphones to distract from assisting guests. Maintains composure and professionalism. Additional duties as assigned.
