Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education in the School of Music- Tenure/Tenure Track - 525385
The University of Alabama School of Music is seeking to fill vacancy of Assistant Professor of Music Education specializing in Choral Music Education. This is a full-time, nine-month appointment, tenure-eligible position.
Administrative Assistant II - 525296
The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Postdoctoral Fellow - 525031
The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.
Environmental Hazard Technician I - 525059
The Environmental Hazard Technician I assists with inspections, testing, and environmental monitoring services in one of the following areas within the Department of Environmental Health and Safety: environmental hazards, hazardous waste, general safety, life safety, laboratory safety, or occupational safety.

The Radiation Safety Technician assists with the daily operations related to radiation safety issues routinely and as needed on campus. Ensures proper implementation of the radiation safety program in University research laboratories under the supervision of the University’s Radiation Safety Administrator. Ensures University compliance with federal and state mandated regulatory compliance for radiation use.

The Laborer assists with routine trade tasks related to work assignments and projects. Performs a wide variety of manual duties such as loading and unloading equipment, supplies, and trash, cleaning, and performing errands or messenger duties.
Trades Helper - 525291
The Trades Helper performs simple manual work in assisting skilled mechanics and apprentices of various trades under close supervision. Typically assigned to assist crew of the same trade on a regular basis.

Instructional Technology Support Manager - 525376
The Instructional Technology Support Manager oversee the help desk operations for the Technical Support Services team. Supervises staff and student workers. Serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues. Provides expert guidance to faculty and staff regarding course design and third-party tools to ensure optimal operability within the LMS. Provides tutorials and training opportunities for internal and external stakeholders. Evaluates data to identify areas of improvement.
Business Systems Analyst II - 525377
The Business Systems Analyst II documents, installs, analyzes, and/or maintains operating system(s) used for the business purpose of assigned area that are complex, critical to University mission, and/or utilized by multiple areas outside of the home organization. Provides technical support and training to users concerning system software and utilities. Serves as subject matter expert for system. Serves as liaison to the central Office of Information Technology (OIT) for advanced support needs.

The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed.

Provides direct counseling services to enrolled University students and supervises students in the mental health professions.
